I compare all the time in my head which one is more difficult. People make comments like “sleep now, because you wont get any when the baby comes”, but in my case, I would get maybe a half hour before choking and waking up, so I actually got more sleep after babies and had been building up exhaustion for months beforehand. So, here is my list so far:)
Pregnant
- Up gagging or can’t breathe every half hour, but can take naps all day.
- So much weight and can’t move.
- people asking about due date, etc.
- Driving is physically difficult, but you can go anywhere, anytime.
- Going out to eat sucks, because you get full so fast and I would just get sick after anyways.
- Baby kicks and having them just be yours inside you.
Babies
- Feeding babies every few hours, so more sleep, but no random naps.
- Feels so much better in body, even though I still share with breastfeeding.
- People asking about babies age, name, etc.
- Trips center around feeding times and take ALL the accessories. Stroller. Two carseats. Big diaper bag. Toys. Nursing pillow. Etc.
- Going out to eat sucks, because your scared a baby is going to cry, or they do and you can’t eat your meal anyway.
- You get to cuddle and get to know them, but you also have to share sometimes. Hehe.
